Gotham City

August 9, 2008

Me, my dad, and Stacey went to nyc to see an art museum, The Metropolitan, and to “see” ny.  I loved the museum it was super huge and pretty.  There was so much in the museum that its been estimated to take at least 2 full days to walk throughout the whole building.  Obviously we dont have the time or money to do that, lol, so we saw the Egyptian art, American, some Chinese and Oceania art, Modern art, European Paintings, and the Roof Garden.
Central Park, Soho, Time Square.

The Metropolitan

Egyptian-ness (sphinx replica)

because we wanted the full affect of egypt we decided to just go there.

There were tons of statues.

and angel things.

European Statues, my dad said that these were some French people who happened to be my ancestors and from the pyrenees mountain’s in France (where my families from).  whoa.

The view from the Roof Garden.

This was an amazing huge painting.

Then we went to Central Park and the Apple Store to chill from walking for hours, ha.

Then my favorite, Soho.

Then we ate at ESPN Zone and walked around Time Square.

The DARK KNIGHT

It was overall a really good day.  Maybe not for Stacey because she didnt get to see Jake Gyllenhaal, maybe next time.  I would go there everyday if i could.
